As Flywheel and Revelli are on vacation in Canada, Miss Dimples receives a phone call from a released prisoner who is out for revenge. Flywheel is the lawyer responsible for putting him behind bars.
Meanwhile, Flywheel and Revelli are fishing in the great outdoors, cracking puns and one liners the whole time. A Canadian Mountie rides up to warn the two of the dangerous, criminal named the Laughing Hyena who is on the loose. They are warned to take shelter in a nearby mining town. As the two paddle their canoe to safety, they end up going over a water fall.
They make it to the town, and find their way to the salloon. The jokes abound as they talk with the tobacco chewing bar maid. Groucho waxes eloquent about his family history, then transitions into a song. In the Heart of Omaha Nebraska.
The Mountie is back, and is looking to get a possie to chase after the Laughing Hyena. Back in the great outdoors, more adventures with tents, a moose, and even more fun.
A confrontation with the Laughing Hyena leads to gunplay, and a chase through the woods. Chased by a bear, our heros are up a tree, but just as the bear makes his get away, the Hyena moves in.
Fortunately, the mountie saves the day, but who exactly earned the reward?
PS: One of my favorites from this series. Who knew a couple of city boys could have so much fun in the great outdoors. Even if it is stereotypical fun.
