Marx Brothers Rremakes 900616 Ravelli Is Kidnapped

Flywheel takes a call regarding a divorce case. Then dictates letters to his secretary Miss Dimples. Rivelli is late, and goes into a few jokes about it. A client stops in to inquire about investigating his wife. Rivelli is taken on as detective.

Flywheel is approached to help fight crime and gangsters. After Rivelli leaves to do his investigation,and soon a brick is tossed through the window. A note is attached that says Rivelli is being held hostage.

Meanwhile, in the gangster’s lair Flywheel shows up to negotiate the ransom. After joking and bumbling around, a fire is started.

Musical interlude. Rivelli plays and is accompanied by an operetic soloist. Later in the act Rivelli kicks him off stage and sings his own version of the song.

In the courtroom, the gangsters are tried for the kidnapping of Rivelli. After plenty of legal joking around, the case is dropped, and the crooks leave. Trouble is, they leave without paying Flywheel their legal fees.

At the end Rivelli has a report of the wife of the man he was hired to investigate.
