Though it was mentioned a few episodes ago, the time has come to finally put up the screen door. Abner gets stuck holding the door, while Lum tries to get Cedric to help. We also discover he has sold his barber chair to grandpa Masters to nap in it. While Lum makes up the bill of sale, and Cedric needs to wait to deliver it, he lends a hand with the door.
Abner holds the door in place, while Cedric pounds nails. Grandpap is upset, and demands to beat the knock kneed daylights out of Lum. All that stands between him and Lum is the flimsy screen door. What’s wrong with the contract he had Lum write up?
The barber chair is ready, but delays in the screen door keeps Cedric from the delivery. Does the door really need to come down and go up yet again? How does the screen work to keep flies out? After all the hard work, its time for Abner to get some rest, but there’s just one more thing to do before that chair can be delivered. Its kinda wide, and the door needs to be taken down to get it through.
