The thundering hoofbeats of the mighty horse Silver, and a hearty Heigh Ho Silver! The Lone Ranger rides again!
Riding the trail, Tonto and the Lone Ranger come across an unruly mob. Homesteaders are upset over mistreatment at the ranchers, and confront them with their complaints. Gunplay breaks out, but the Lone Ranger is on hand to moderate the tension.
Lone Ranger listens to the voice of oppression, and begins his work to prevent more bloodshed on the land.
Meanwhile, the ranchers group together to do what they can to hold onto their land and lifestyle. Who is in the right? The homesteaders also have a legal right to be there. What can calm the fighting spirit? How about agood old love affair?
The rancher’s son, Johnny is in love with the homesteader’s daughter, Clara. Their romantic moment is broken when the sheriff rides up with word that the rancher has been shot and killed by a nester. Evidence seems to prove it was the girls dad who did it. Say it aint so! Will this drive a wedge, and ruin a perfectly good love affair?
Elsewhere, Lone Ranger and Tonto have a close call with gunplay while they investigate. It’s the girls dad, who also happens to be nearly blind, and hiding out in a cave. The facts of the killing are retold to the Lone Ranger, and the claim is that he is innocent of the shooting. Well, of course, but if he didn’t do it, then who did it, and why?
Lone Ranger takes off with Tonto to think over all the possibilities and angles. He shares what he knows with what the sheriff knows. Together, they get to the bottom of the mystery, and ride hard to stop a full blown range war. Will they make it? Will their evidence be enough to convince the irate cowboys and nesters? Who is really behind the tense feelings, and murder?
Hop on your imaginary horse, and get your six guns ready for some hard riding, hard shooting Western adventure as you are there to help the Lone Ranger bring justice to the wild western plains.
