Margret is singing in anticipation of a special event. Will Jim turn out to be as romantic as Betty’s boyfriend? Kathy has her own secrets about Bud. Though he tries, Jim falls a little short on the hints at being romantic. Has he struck on Margrets meaning, and the need to pick up a wedding gift for a relative?
Proud of himself for the good deed, Jim finds he’s still in the dark, but there’s still time to figure this out… right? Crossed wires make Margret think Jim has learned her romantic secret. Soon Jim has to pull all the punches to enlist the kids, or anybody he can to learn Margrets secret.
It comes down to just having to ask her… but some last moment help comes to derail Jim’s attempt. The day is saved, and Jim knows exactly about the show, the memories of the special anniversary, and gets help in getting tickets to a special event. But let’s just say that Somehow there’s plenty of chances for victory to be snatched from the jaws of defeat… and back again. Despite the setbacks, Margret finally gets her romantic moment.
