In Dodge City, a young gunman gets into a scuffle with an older man. The young man, Tom Clay, wins the battle, but the dead man’s brother doesn’t seem too thrilled. On the streets of Dodge, Tom shows the chip on his shoulder to Matt and Chester, and brags about the men he’s killed. Is there going to be trouble?
Complaints about Tom start to come to Matt. Tom’s trick is to lure his victim into drawing first, and Matt’s hands are tied since Tom is killing in self defense. If the Marshall can’t put a stop to it though, Clay may be facing death from a different direction than a fair gunfight.
Morgan is a man whose brother was killed by Tom in Dodge City, and he plays his own game to bring some hard justice to the brash youngster. Can Matt prevent rash behavior? Will Matt be drawn in as an instrument of death? There’s a fine line between gunslinging, and law enforcement in a raw Western town.
