A wealthy benefactor summons Sherlock Holmes to visit him in his weakened state. The German man wants Sherlock to impersonate him, and represent him to conclude a peace treaty. The master of disguise thinks that all he needs to do is work on a German accent to make the deception complete. What will it mean when Watson and detective Lastraad visit? Will Holmes be able to pull off his disguise?
Filling in for the German official, Holmes holds up to grilling about the events surrounding an explosion earlier. Though Watson is competent in asking the questions, has he been able to come to any important decisions? Holmes tries to warn Watson off of further investigations, but will it come too late?
Danger explodes, but Watson isn’t harmed by the bomb. Holmes has disappeared again but will Watson prove to be a capable detective for Lastrahd? Witnesses become hostile, and the investigation seems to stall. As Watson closes the case, Sherlock shows his hand to sort out the details too expose a klleer and a traitor.
