The barber business has yet to make a dent in the business from Mose Moots. Today Lum has a new idea to put the bite on the rival barber. Will a price war break out? Cedric carries a sign to advertise the new deal from Mose. Lum tries to appeal to Cedric’s loyalty, but Mose sure pays good.
Lum feels that Mose is being unfair, and trying to take away all the business that he doesn’t have, yet. Lum has tried to give some visiting hillbillies a shave and haircut, but when they didn’t take him up[ on it, he asked them if they’d just stand in line outside.
Will it motivate folks to visit Lum when they see a line of shaggy haired hillbillies that doesn’t get any shorter? More hillbillies show up to get paid to stand in line. Will Lum need an advance on his wages as delivery boy? Not only is Lum’s cost going up, the hillbillies are scaring people off, and now they demand a raise. Lum has an idea to get him out of his jam.
