The exclusive diamond dealership turned out to be a novelty company, so Lum has to abandon his dreams for his empire. Lum and Abner discuss the folks in town who have an exclusive diamond agency, from young to old. To make good on breaking Lum’s demo diamonds, Mose Moots swaps him one of his old barber chairs.
What’s Lum going to do with the chair? Could he sell it to someone else beside Mose? Should he bring it to the store, or keep it at the barbershop as his personal chair? Would the chair look good in grandpap’s living room? Or out in the barn?
Lum considers how it would work for an office chair. The gents wonder if it would make a decent replacement for a stool down at Luke Spears lunch room. There has to be someone out there who could put a secondhand barber chair to use. Lum finally gets the idea to set up his own barber shop. L Edwards, Barbarian.
