At Centerfield High School, Henry, and his pal Dizzy try to find a missing lunch box. The guys discuss who to take to the school picnic. Agnes, Henry’s female nemesis, hints that she needs a date to the picnic. Will she hook him up with that mysterious blonde?
At the malt shop Geraldine racks up Henry’sthe bill for , ice cream, pie and malts. Mom brings Henry’s missing lunch box, and gives her son a lesson on telling the difference between a nice girl, and one who is ill-mannered. Before long he has three dates to the picnic.
Can Henry get his sister Mary to help him get out of his date with Agnes? Pawning off a few valuables, Henry manages to afford the lunches for his dates. Since Dizzy is without a date, Henry kindly offfers Agnes to him.
His dates are whittled down to just Geraldine and Agnes. When Agnes has an emergency, Henry shows his true colors when he races to rescue… the lunch basket. The fickle Geraldine abandons Henry for a better catch, but henry finds all he needs with Agnes.
