How can he come up with a nice gift for mom? Can he get someone to pitch in for an even nicer gift? Will he help spring for a dinner or movie out?
Waiting at the crowded movie theater on Saturday night, the family get split up, and mom is bombarded by people trying to sell carnations and candy for Mother’s Day. Family members meet, split, but will they ever get together all at the same time?
What else can go wrong? It starts raining, the stores close before Mary can buy a gift for mom, and what happened to Henry? Will dinner go any better? Maybe an evening with the Anderson’s will be the thing to do? It’s not like Kathleen and her parents were doing anything. Just enjoying a peaceful, quiet, family night at home is all.
