After a 50 mile ride down the trail, Jingles is ready to make camp for the night. When a camp fire is spotted, Bill and Jingles check it out to be sure things are OK. The unattended fire means some quick work at firefighting. Does Thomas have any enemies who would do this to him?
A rival, Lance Ducane appears, and gun play is stopped before it starts. The trouble maker seems to have a friend in town, a lawyer named Golden. What will Oliver Golden have to say on the rivalry? Fireworks soon explode, when gunshots break through the window, and knock Jingle’s hat off. Bad guys get away for now, so Bill lays low to spy on the lawyer. Can Bill stack things in his favor Wien it comes to Lance? Can Bill moderate in their conflict?
Get ready for a gun battle, but it’ll be one led by Bill, and forces joined between Lance, and Thomas to catch a rustler.
The surprised rustlers are easy work, and the real mystery is exposed. The pole cats are rounded up to take to the sherif, and a new partnership is forged between the ranchers.
