Sade tells Vic that Fletcher will be staying with them a little longer as their house guest. Although he has spent plenty of time going to and fro to his apartment only 3 blocks up the street. Are there developments in the undercurrents surrounding the matter of his landlady getting married. Things that might have scandalous outbreaks?
Russell jokes around with Fletcher about his friend, Bluetooth Johnson, and interupts Vic’s conversation about Ike Nicefur and the Thimble club ladies. Not afraid, or concerned about his breaking into Vic’s conversation, Fletcher demands respect and won’t stand for interuptions as he tells his story.
Vic politely takes it in, and listens when Fletcher announces his peaceful rest will take more time, as he imposes himself on the good graces of the Gook household. Insisting on celebrating by popping pop corn, Fletcher won’t be put off by Sade, who reminds him that dinner will be ready soon.
