Abner describes how stout, and muscular the town black smith is. To make a big splash, Abner wants a big parade, and have it routed right past Caleb’s shop. It ought to impress the whole town as well as Caleb.
With a parade full of big brass bands, and Cedric in his baseball suit, it ought to get attention from folks from miles round. Will the reluctant Lum cave in when he learns he can give a speech? Abner even suggests doing fire side chats.
