Ed Lawery, star reporter for the Daily Sentinel, gets a hot tip and goes to interview the lovely Mrs Donald. What does her husband know? It’s enough to get her hubby beaten half to death, and enough persuasion to keep his mouth shut. Soon, the seal of the Green Hornet is found, and strikes fear in the hearts of the gangsters who did the deed.
Brit Reed is out to find the connection between gangster, Randal, and the beaten man. Lawery hits the streets with the cops to get the scoop, while both think the Green Hornet has a hand in the shady doings. Randal has a construction company, and is a sure shot to win the bid for the next city project, especially since he’s convincing his rivals to back down the hard way.
Brit Reed lays a trap to pretend to b a rival contractor who wants to bid on the project. It’s just the bait to lure the crooked racketeer into a trap. Randal takes the bait, and suspects it is backed by the Green Hornet. Is this his chance to fend off a rival, and capture the Hornet? The bait is more than enough to send the gangster right into the hands of the Green Hornet. A thrilling show down puts an end to the corruption.
