He announces that he’s leaving his lodgings, but Sade begins to think it’s a matter of making a mountain out of a mole hill when he wants to make sure Russel isn’t around to spy on the adult topic. Sade gets worried when she learns he is to move into the Bright Kentucky Hotel. Is he, or isn’t he?
Sade gets only momentary relief to hear that Fletcher will take over Hank Gutstop’s room in the Butler Hotel instead. It all has to do with the upcoming marriage of his landlady. The news makes Fletcher feel doubly satisfied to know that Sade is more concerned at his living arrangements than he expected.
