Sharing the latest adventure from his hero, 3rd Lt Stanely, Russel has his recitation to Vic interupted whehn Sade enters. Sade manages to break in to tell how important and uppity uncle Fletcher is feeling at the change in his life lately. As if on cue, Fletcher enters to revel in telling about his new living quarters at the Butler Hotel. His flowery talk to describe living in the lap of luxury finds him apologizing to Sade that he has been talking manly talk that is over her head.
True to his personality, after Russel returns to the room, he cuts off his juicy gossip of adult conversation to keep kids from spying on such things. Does that mean he places Sade on the level of a child, who shouldn’t hear any such complicated adult topics? No, at least he tells Sade about it. He just figures it’s too complex for her to grasp. Though the topic is somewhat tame, he considers it an adult item, and as such, any children shouldn’t have their innocent minds exposed to it.
That wacky uncle Fletcher. His topic isn’t all that racy, but if only adults today would restrain themselves on some of the things that come off their tongues in the presence of kids, the world today might be a nicer place for our young ones.
