On the road, and in the Acme hotel, Rochester tries to wake Jack. Phil phones the hotel with a request to take time from the trip home to honeymoon with his bride, Alice. Mary pops in while Jack gets packed. Jokes abound about the cheap hotel.
Sending out for room service, Don enters, as do the Ink Spots. They sing a sponsor flavored version of, If I Didn’t Care.
Discussing his show, room service is ordered, and plans for an Alan’s Alley spoof is made. Mary practices a few lines with Jack. Senator Claghorn answers the question, Will TV replace radio? Titus Moody does the same, and tells about the loss of a friend. Does TV help his hens? Ajax shares his own take on TV. Finally, Mr Kitzel joins the rest and tells about his fun in the park.
