Fast forward to a point in time where war has ended, but murder has been legalized. Stan is an actor, but is also a hunter, and is all keyed up since he hasn’t had a victim lately. The tens club is the coveted rank for hunters to achieve, and a letter revives Stan’s spirits when he is notified of his 7th victim, and within range of the Tens Club.
There’s a troubling matter though. Stan has just received his first female victim. We learn some of the rules of the hunters and victims. What are they allowed to do, or not to do? Can they wear body armor/ Can the victims fight back? Should Stan worry about killing a woman? She signed up to be in the program after all. The stalking begins, and more of the hunters lifestyle is shared.
The woman doesn’t seem to be hiding herself well. She’s out in the open where the hunt is just too easy, Stan decides a different approach. Moving in close, Stan learns her story, and how she got herself into the victim program
Feeling sorry for the girl, Stan takes her out on the town. Will she feel safe with him? Is he just playing her before he does the deed? Is he falling for her? There are penalties for not taking down your victim. Stan finds out the hard way that women don’t make easy targets though.
