Another rehearsal, and though the musical score may be missing, the drama is all in tact. The job begins in the blue light district, and sends Johnny on his way to Borneo to find the missing Able Tackett. He has been gone for five years, and though Mrs Tackett is hopeful, Johnny doubts that he’ll find him alive.
Why would Johnny go to such a distant, foreign land? Able turns out to be a manly man, well known by the travellers that Johnny encounters. As Johnny braves the sultry jungles of the South Seas, he offers voiceover to paint the picture for us, but he still doesn’t know where Tackett might be, or why he came to this tropic land. Was he driven by treasures, fame, the exotic lands, pure adventure, or something else?

As deadly as the dangers of the jungle are, Johnny finds the troubles are compounded by murderous intent, not only from head hunters in the jungle, but from one guide who wants to kill the man and another who is in love with him. As he travels, the drama is unfolded by Inez, and through Johnny’s own voiceover. Join in to experience the dangers and intrigue of jungle insects, oppressive heat, pouring rain, and curious natives.
