On the stage coach run to Santa Fe, hold ups plague the route. Bill and Jingles have to go that way anyway, so they lend a hand. To cover more ground, the two split up. First, they have to dodge the crusty old driver who jumps on a cats back to send a few shots their way. Ain’t that just dandy. What will them mealy mouth cotton tails at the head office think of next.
Red Moran agrees, but grudgingly, to let Bill drive while Jingles helps at the depot. As Bill rides off, a mean looking jasper catches Jingles attention. What tricks does he have cooked up with Old Red? They didn’t plan on Jingles being the scrapper that he is. Now he finds himself hostage with horse thieves. On the road things go well, until bandits attack. There’s something odd about this indian band. They’re wearing hats, and one has red hair. Hey, isn’t that Jingles horse, Joker?
Guns blaze as horses race. The only hope is to make it back to Raccoon station, and see if Jingles is safe. Can local ranchers help enforce Bill, Jingles, and shotgun rider, Roxie? The gun battle resumes with war whoops, and revenge comes for Jingles thump on the head as the truth of the betrayal is reported to the stage coach line owner.
