It’s National Pickle Week, and Connie Brooks tells how she managed to get herself into her latest pickle. She tells Mrs Davis about her money crunch, and then tries to figure ways to make a quick buck so she can go on her trip over Summer vacation.
Walter Denton makes his entrance, and needs help of his own. Will the accident prone Connie be able to help by buttering up Mr Conklin? In the meantime, Walter leaves an orchid with Connie for safe keeping. The thing Connie wants to do is take a trip to South America, and when she learns how profitable Walter’s proposition in using a geiger counter to find uranium is, her mind is quickly changed. Elsewhere, we find out a detail about that rare black orchid that Walter had. It was swiped from Conklins garden. He’s not going to find out about Walter and Connie’s little secret project… will he???
Later, Connie talks with Boynton about his vacation plans, and the geiger counter. Confusion and mix ups begin to unravel as the comedy grows. There’s plenty of slow burns and misunderstandings to go around, so don’t miss it.
