As the Halls discuss where they might go on their vacation this Summer, they are interupted by a more immediate need. Mike is a college student with a gift in music. He has become such a success that he wants to turn around and pay for his dad, a hard working immigrant, to enroll at Ivy.
After the big dance, the older man spends some time with the Halls. The concern is how well he might fit in with a crowd that is one third his age. Will the older man be honored, and take up the offer of further education?
There are decisions to be made, and it’s off to yet another party. This one is a stag party for the graduating seniors to get in a few last minute thrills. Dad has a word to say about receiving his son’s gift, but it’s one that money can’t buy.
