As Vic and Sade get ready for an evening of playing cards, Sade accidentally calls Fred Stembottom, Ted. She claims that uncle Fletcher’s habit of calling him that, plus Vic and Russel calling him Ted on purpose, have got her doing the same thing. She’s so afraid the misuse of his name might upset Fred. Speaking of Fletcher, he enters to tell about his new job as ticket taker at the Bijou. The longer the discussion goes on, the more Ted is used rather than Fred, and Sade gets more defensive over the proper name. Maybe she’s just worried she’ll let it slip and embarrass herself.
