Opening to an exciting scene of cops cornering a gunman on a rooftop, Philip Marlowe is on hand to tell how it all started. He took a job for a Mexican woman. Mrs Andrades tells about her son, and how he lost his job at a shipping warehouse. Is he really entangled with gangsters who hijacked a shipment of furs?
Heading to the warehouse, Marlowe encounters a dame, and lots of attitude from the others who worked with Pedro. Helen Castile is Pedro’s girlfriend, and offers a little help. The situation soon involves bodies, and it looks like Pedro may be in too deep for even Marlowe to get him out.
The chase is on, and we’re back at the scene of the rooftop gunman. Its up to Marlowe to confront Pedro, and let him know how he stands. The truth about the furs, the bodies, and Pedro comes out. Listen in as Philip explains the whole case, and how he put the clues together to unravel it.
