Audio quality is low, but otherwise clear. Doctor Hall is on the way to be a keynote speaker, and he takes Vicky along with him. We learn a little about campus gossip, and Doc Hall seems to have picked up a special admirer on the walk from car to speaking hall. Although it might take a policeman to get rid of the overly friendly dog that has discovered the Doc.
Toddy’s relief at getting rid of the pooch is turned to concern when he realizes the doggie’s new home will be the pound. Can he find a good home by himself? Canvass the area with the Hall’s to see if someone in the neighborhood will take in a stray dog. The emotion of the moment has Toddy flashing back to a time in the courtship of Toddy and Vicky, and a soggy wardrobe malfunction.
Returning from his mental trip down memory lane, a happy ending waits for the Halls and the little dog. With all the canine excitement, I don’t think that speech was ever delivered, but nobody seems to have noticed.
