Fibber’s hospital story is cut short once again when Mr Wellington the manager from the theater, visits. He tells how the folks at the Elks club passed the hat for him. The manager rushes out for his own appointment at the nursery. When Harlowe Wilcox arrives, he turns one of Fibbers jokes against him and spins the hospital theme into the sponsor message.

Beulah enters to report on how she’s settling in with the kitchen work. She hasn’t been sick a day in her life, and listens to Fibber finally tell why his experience with the nurse was so frightening.
