Kane and Ardellah had sent out Barney for supplies, and Buck had been following the rocket trail. Though the trail has suddenly disappeared, Buck has an idea of how to find it again, but night is falling.
As Buck circles, looking for Kane’s rocket trail Wilma tries too radio Doctor Huer. Has he already left for his mission to Omaha? A new secure radio frequency is given since Doc has already left.
Meanwhile in Omaha, Doc speaks to a friend who he rescued in the past. Doc nearly gives away some confidential info about Black Barney’s forced involvement with Kane. Good news comes when Doc is told of the shipment of Impentrite that he came for was just shipped out.
No sooner than Doc makes his exit, than Barney enters on his business with Kane. Using his influence as an upright citezen, Barney asks for a large amount of supplies on credit. Back in Buck’s rocket, he gets a radio message from
Doc to tell about the big supply pick up, and Buck is on the way to see if Barney can be intercepted.
