Alice wants a new car, and has taken Phil to every car lot in town. Today Frankie joins the pair for the latest misadventure in having Alice make up her mind. Even the salesman at the lot isn’t thrilled to see Alice making her return to his business. What is the problem? Alice sees the purchase as a fashion statement, and wants to accessorize. Alice sings, In the Good Old Days Gone By (You’re Much Older Than I).
Through it all, Phil makes the profound conclusion that women are different from men? Really? What clued him off? Once a car is decided on, and it makes it home, Phil is afraid she still might change her mind. he and Frankie find a flaw that they decide they can fix. Everybody knows the way to fix a windshield wiper is by opening the hood, and tampering with the engine. Right?
As Frankie does his worst, Phil sings, That’s a Plenty For Me. Julius arrives and is as confused over the logic that Frankie used in his repairs. I can’t blame him on that one. Can Julius save the day, or will he fall prey to being tortured as he hides from Alice in the car’s engine compartment?
