Thanks to Abner filling in for Neoshow the mystic, Lum now has both the widow Abernathy and sister Simpson expecting to marry him. You just can’t get that idea out of their heads with a stick of dynamite… but Abner thinks it could be a good idea. The mental anguish is enough to make Lum want to suicide himself.
Lum has Abner thinking his misdeed is tantamount to treason, Isn’t there something the gents can study up on to get Lum out of trouble, and going to dinner with either of the ladies? Abner isn’t very good at covering for Lum when a phone call from sister Simpson comes in for Lum.
The determined sister Simpson won’t take anything less than talking with Lum himself. Will his excuse get him off the hook, or just dig him into a deeper hole? He may end up with a double whammy.
