he unbelievable tale begins with Sam, a worker for the telephone company. Should he take a self improvement course to satisfy his fiancee? After several weeks on an electronic course, Sam takes Rosie to the basement to show off his project. It still needs some tweaking, and Rosie is not impressed.
Later, while on a telephone pole, a test call finds Sam talking to someone claiming to be himself. Is it really Sam? Is it really Sam, phoning himself from sometime in the next week? With suggestions from future Sam, present Sam gets his invention in working order. Not to mention some advice on his troubles with Rosie.
With tip offs on the happenings, and sports events, will Sam be a shoe in for getting rich? Rosie has a hard time believing him. Why aren’t things going so smoothly for Sam, as future Sam indicated? With the apparent sabotage in his life from future Sam, will present Sam keep following the advice? The error of comedies leads to getting Rosie back, but will he come full circle, and become the future Sam who calls himself?
