The case of contradictions gets a big start with the changing weather. A dame needs to hire Sam in regards to her fiancee, Ben Comiski. He is being held in jail for robbery. The evidence is going against him, but Ben doesn’t look the part of a common thief. Is he responsible for a rash of robberies, or just taking the fall for someone?
At the Comiski home, Sam finds more contradictions. A good son, and a bad son. How is Sam’s client taking the situation of her fiancee being indicted? Her suicide attempt incites Sam to look more into her background. Might the suicide actually be a murder attempt? And who would want her dead?
A character known as the Ice Man, with flashy jewelry is behind the matter. Sam digs into him to see how much he may be behind. Fists fly as Sam gets to the truth. The twists aren’t all the way unravelled, when there is someone behind the Ice Man, and hanging Ben out to dry.
