Jet, Lenny and Doc have been searching for their missing crew, and found what appeared to be a farm with some strange looking creatures. They found Mitch, but he didn’t seem to know them, and tried to fight Jet off.
Today, the crew are finishing up with making some repairs on Jet’s helmet, when the Martian doctor that the farmer had called in a previous episode arrives. Mitches memory is coming back, but is still fuzzy.
They try to explain to the disbelieving doctor about their expedition from Earth to mars. The doctor doesn’t believe it, and insists that this is earth, and not Mars. Who’s the mentally unstable ones here? Jet begins to wonder. What is normal, and what’s the deal with these people who seem to be from earth, but believe they are still there? Who is behind the mind control of these local people?
Even the recent crew members who disappeared make an appearance, but seem changed, and expressionless. Our heros are taken captive, and soon to be brought to the Martians. Can they get away? Can they overcome the mind control that is being used on them?
What they need is a diversion. Jet gets his chance and makes a break for it. Jet makes it back to the exploration vehicles, but Doc and Lenny are escorted into the sphere shaped ship as it takes off. Through narative, Doc fills in a few details of bording the ship, and we find him and Lenny in the wierd spaceship.
Though they try to talk sense to Mitch and spark his memory, nothing has worked. Doc and Lenny talk about how the martians might have kidnapped these people, and the terrain they’re flying over. They ponder over what will become of them, and why they haven’t been subjected to the Martian mind control, but have they spoken too soon? Will they be able to resist?
Doc seems to be immune to the Martian mind control, but Lenny is fighting against it as hard as he can. The ship lands in a huge city, but we’ll need to wait until next time to learn what comes next.
