Chip only wants her for her money, but she knows it, and doesn’t seem to care. The date for the inheritance is bumped up, when shots ring out, and Sam’s client is dead. With the news of the murder blazing the headlines, Chip is on the run as the main suspect.
The trail leads to a partner at a nightclub, and a secret marriage between Chip and Helen is revealed. Sam smells a rat, and a set up. Did Chip really kill the old man? Who else might have a reason to cash in on a fortune?
