It’s time again for a meeting of the Golden Era Discussion Club, and Lum wants the gang to be on their best behavior for the lecture on dentistry that Doc Snide is to deliver. Trying to be as brainy as Ulysses, Cedric takes over in saying, OK. Lum reviews the credentials and achievements of the new dentist.
Meetings just aren’t the same without grandpap, who is still in Toledo, thinking he’s still Buster V Davenport. Doc Snide arrives to meet the club members. The mealy mouthed medicine man mumbles his way through the greetings, then decides to examine the sleeping grandpa Masters teeth.
Does he sleep all the time because of having bad teeth? Maybe that’s his way of dealing with them. The doc’s enthusiasm in working on teeth wanes fast when he learns that grandpa Masters doesn’t have any money. Getting back to looking at grandpa Masters teeth, a serious event gets turned around on the new dentist.
