The mission on Mars continues. Jet Morgan reports on what has found in the canals. Huge trees, and even the city he had dreamed about in the previous episode. The sun is going down, and Jet has to return before the environment becomes too dangerous.
Back in the exploration vehicles, he shares the plan to explore the city. The next day, the crew sets out and describe the city they are exploring. As these men set out, contact is maintained with the rear base, the base on the polar ice cap, and even with folks on Earth.
The observation and photographing mission continues. There is no resistance to their progress. What will they find in the city? What kind of dangers could they be facing? Evidence that the missing crew from #2 is found. Did they pass this way? There doesn’t seem to be any paths, or way into the city from the ground.
What about flying over the walls? As the reconasance mission takes pictures overhead, Lenny has an encounter with alien forces, and loses radio contact with Jet and the rest. Lenny finds his way in the city, but what wierd things are happening in this place? Is it good, or bad? It’s both familiar, and foreign. Mars is like being back home, but it’s different somehow. Is this all some sort of wierd trap to kill the explorers?
The audio cuts off abruptly, so the questions will have to find answers in the next thrilling episode.
