Ernest Chapel meets a charming young lady, and by charming, I mean that she’s a witch. If she says something, it happens. His wife only appears to him one time a year, on Halloween. Under her spell, Ernest is given long life. Things got rough during the witch trials in the 1600’s. But things have gone mostly well with the unusual couple.
Even though her visits come once a year, the prankster wife watches over her hubby while she is away, and deals with a red headed lover in a way that only magic can. Ernest tells how he had some explaining to do over the missing woman, and the jail time he did for it. Has he learned his lesson about being a good boy for his wife?
How long can a guy hold out when he only gets a wifely visit once a year? Maybe Ernest should do something to get rid of the old witch. Candice can be sweet, when she wants to be, but for the past few decades she has been suspicious, and hard to live with.
What will happen when his latest flirtation shows up on that special Halloween night? Is it about time he just does away with Candice, and moves along? What about that whole longevity of life thing?
