The truck line has been saved by an unusual source. Buster V Davenport, and his salesmanship has increased deliveries enough to save the day. Today the Golden Era Discussion Club meets, and members plan to show appreciation to Buster. Knowing the way grandpap loves to smoke a pipe, they want to present him with a new one.
The fancy briar pipe, with grandpap’s initials is admired by all the gents. Cedric and the rest study up the nice words they’re going to say to grandpap. Should they tailor their words to reflect grandpap’s past in Pine Ridge, or his imagined past as Buster V Davenport from Toledo, Ohio?
When Buster arrives he claims to be looking for a new boarding house. He can’t stand to live in the same place as professor Sloane. Suddenly, he just hates and despises people who smoke a pipe.
