What is this exploratory expedition the man talks about, and why is this to be his last transmissions? Will the man and his people be on a teaching mission, or a conquering one? Is there a connection between strange disappearances and news headlines, and the man from space?
When the man from the second earth shows up at Carl’s lab, he shrouds himself in the darkness of the basement. Has the friendly mission gone all wrong? The man warns Carl to stay back, and not approach him. For all their advancements, the space man seems awfully fascinated by fire. Might the basic, and age old element of this earth be the downfall of a hostile takeover?
