Frankie takes Phil to the beauty salon where Alice is adored. Will they give Phil the same royal treatment to fix him up? Phil sings, Is It True What They Say About Dixie?
To save money, and embarrassment at being seen in public at a salon, Frankie dyes Phils hair for him with a home kit. The doubting Phil needs someone to test this on first. Good thing Julius visits. Frankie is on a roll, and when the girls get home, they are all for a new hair job. Though the color scheme might be shocking for 1949, I’ll bet they would blend in quite well today, with those bright red and green hairdo’s.
Phil might be upset over his girls new look, but the girls love it.
