After last week’s show where Phil was unprepared for his season opener, Mr Scott makes him hold to regular office hours, and demands he come into the office. Almost like a kid on the first day of school, Phil drags his feet, and his family and friends all bring him gifts and office supplies for his first day at the office. Even the girls get in on the act to wish dad well. Alice sings, Let’s Take and Old Fashioned Walk.
At the office, Phil and Remley don’t know what to do. They are briefly joined by Julius. Who let him in here anyway? Their brainstorm of ideas lead to putting on their own 1 cent sale. A thing that Rexall was famous for, even into the 1960’s.
Phil sings, Roll Around Heaven All Day. The sale is a roaring success, but it isn’t one that makes good business sense. What will Mr Scott think? He’ll be surprised all right.
