Grandpap talks about his encounter with the Red Cross, and giving blood. As Abner and grandpap are confused over having goblins in their blood, Cedric enters.
The trial for the breach of promise case is to be held in Pine Ridge, and Lum is to preside. This should go well for Cedric… right? A snag arises when the Redfields demand a jury trial. Can they stack the jury in favor of Cedric?
Complications multiply when Lum learns he can’t defend Cedric, and be justice of the peace. Also that Squire Skimp is back, and working for the REdfields.
