Humans rebel, making them untrustworthy, , but electronic men always obey. Soon the mechanical men will be able to reproduce themselves without human help. What does this mean for humans? Can a way be found to maintain privacy, and keep the mechanical police from invading living quarters on demand?
A small band of people escape to seek after inventor, Morton. The inventor’s plan seems to have his machines kill off all people who refuse to cooperate with his purpose for the mechanical brain. Outside, the sounds of night life, and fresh air almost seem foreign to our small group, reveling in being like pioneers of old.
Soon the mechanicals catch up, and the group is to be brought back in for retraining. There still could be a chance to escape the master mechanical brain. Or will their 20 year year effort be thwarted, and their one night of blissful release be cut short? They’re more determined than ever to break the bonds of the master mechanical brain, but surprises could await them with the artificial intelligence before they’re through. Will civilization, and the human race be defeated?
Sounds like the Terminator, but with slower, clunkier, and more awkward robots.
