An indian tribe holds certain superstitions about the happenings. Through mental telepathy the indians send the Shadow a message to come and help. Bandits are on the loose, and Lamont tries to get government authorities to believe him. Not even the governor believes him, and refuses to help. It takes the Shadow to sneak in to take care of business. The weed of crime bears bitter fruit, and the Shadow knows how to make things right.
