Desperate for rebuilding his observatory, Lum is forced to meet the jacked up price. With Lum in a buying mood, can Squire convince him to pick up some insurance, stock in a mine, or other investments?
When Squire steps out, Abner enters with the revelation that he is one of the other bidders. With a false identity that Cedric had used, Lum realizes he has been bidding against himself. Will Squire step down on his price, or does he have yet another bidder in the wings?
