Chester and Matt watch the townsfolk wandering down the street. Doc gets called out to visit a cowboy camp. The cowboy has died of his gunshot wound, and the trail boss doesn’t want Matt poking his nose into the incident.
Back in Dodge, Matt has his work cut out for him when he has to deal with disgruntled businessmen, and rowdy cowboys. The trail boss offers up a scapegoat, but Matt knows that he still needs to find a killer.
