In the town of Dawson, a medicine show is set up to sell it’s cure for everything. The watchful eye of Lone Ranger and Tonto take in the sights and sounds of the festive attraction that has swindled settlers throughout the West.
Doc Stubbs has pickpockets scattered through the crowd while the music plays, then touts the product as a miracle cure for everything, so stock up on it. Special bottles have been prepared for the hypochondriac settlers. Especially for the ones with the biggest money belts. The worst it seems to do is make folks sleepy, and make it easy to lift those heavy money belts off of them. In the morning, even Doc Stubbs claims to have been robbed, and puts the blame on that masked man, and indian who have been skulking around.
Tonto has been arrested and to borrow his own words, “Me not talk.” He may face a hanging for the theft, but after a settler has died of an overdose of Doc’s snake oil, he may be joining Tonto. It all sounds like a trap, arranged by the Lone Ranger, if you ask me. Ride along to see the medicine man squirm as his plans fall apart, and the band of thieves get what’s coming to them.
