During his days as editor for a bicycle group’s newsletter back in Iowa, he learned the ways of the world. Should Cedric be the caveman type, and be rough with women, like Mousey is?
Mousey tells how he had to rough up Gussey to make her his wife, but Cedric doesn’t think Clarabella would react the same way. Cedric keeps referring to Mousey as, Mr Abner. Probably because it’s actually Norris Goff who does both characters. After adlibbing to poke fun at the flub, Mousey does a role play with Cedric to demonstrate the caveman technique. Lum and Abner arrive in time to use that first aid stuff they’ve been learning.
