Eagle Pass is a resupply point for cowboys on the move with their cattle herds. The pass is also the only route through the mountains. Now, Big Bill Lawson owns the land around the pass, and a toll is to be required for each head of cattle. It might be legal, but it’s not fair. When the Lone Ranger hears of it, he develops his own plan to bring justice despite the law. How will the ranchers get their herds to market? Can the Lone Ranger catch Big Bill doing something illegal? Can the Masked man organize the ranchers to cooperate, and somehow overwhelm the greedy Bill Lawson?
