Sade shares the news with Vic about the housewarming party that Chuck and Dottie are planning. A big party with 60 people is in the works. Is there that many people in town that they know? Vic is doubtful, but Sade’s description of the whole affair doesn’t let him get in too many words. Party arrangements include requiring each guest to write a note, guests to be formally announced, no kids, fancy food, music from a live band, and more. It’s enough to make Sade giddy at the thought of the things that are being planned.
Note: Jimbo Mason puts it this way…
The housewarming party is eerily similar to the party Rush wanted to be in charge of in March of 1938.
In this episode though, Sade takes on the persona of Rush. As a matter of fact, she does such a good job of “being” Rush that you feel like it’s it’s 1938 all over again (and not in a bad or repetitious way.)
